About the Role

Trading Card Solutions is looking for a dependable, hands-on Logistics Supervisor to help lead the operations behind our growing trade show and event business.

This position is responsible for coordinating the movement of people, equipment, inventory, and supplies between our warehouse operations and trading card shows. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee event preparation, transportation, setup and teardown, inventory control, warehouse activities, and on-site logistics while providing leadership to Logistics Specialists and other event staff.

This is not a traditional desk-based logistics position. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, traveling regularly, solving problems in real time, leading a team, and working alongside that team to get the job done.

The right person will take ownership of assigned operations and help Trading Card Solutions develop efficient, repeatable systems as we continue expanding our event presence.

What You'll Do

Event & Transportation Logistics

• Plan and coordinate logistics for assigned trading card shows and events.
• Develop efficient travel routes, transportation schedules, and event logistics plans.
• Coordinate the loading, transportation, delivery, setup, collection, and return of company equipment and inventory.
• Ensure vehicles are properly loaded, secured, maintained, fueled, and ready for scheduled travel.
• Coordinate event arrival times, loading and unloading, venue access, and other on-site logistics.
• Anticipate and respond to traffic, weather, vehicle, shipment, venue, and scheduling issues.
• Monitor transportation and travel expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.

Trade Show Operations

• Lead the physical setup and teardown of Trading Card Solutions operations at assigned events.
• Coordinate the distribution and collection of rental display cases.
• Ensure rental equipment is clean, functional, properly placed, and accounted for before and after events.
• Oversee efficient loading and unloading while minimizing equipment damage and maximizing available vehicle capacity.
• Help ensure Trading Card Solutions' booth, point-of-sale equipment, supplies, and accessories are prepared for each event.
• Serve as an on-site operational point of contact and help resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain positive relationships with show organizers, venue personnel, vendors, and customers.

Warehouse & Inventory

• Maintain accurate inventory counts for display cases, accessories, supplies, packaging materials, and other company products.
• Prepare and stage equipment and inventory for upcoming shows and customer needs.
• Coordinate receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and movement of incoming inventory.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective measures.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including shipment verification, packaging, documentation, and tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Help ensure company equipment is inspected, maintained, repaired, or replaced as necessary.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and provide direction to Logistics Specialists, event staff, drivers, warehouse personnel, and temporary workers as assigned.
• Coordinate staffing needs and schedules with the Logistics Manager.
• Assign clear responsibilities for loading, transportation, event setup, customer support, teardown, and inventory.
• Train team members on logistics processes, equipment handling, safety, professionalism, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Provide feedback and coaching when expectations are not being met.
• Lead pre-event team meetings to ensure employees understand their responsibilities and priorities.
• Help build a dependable logistics team capable of operating effectively with limited day-to-day oversight.

Customer & Business Support

• Provide professional, responsive support to vendors and customers during events.
• Resolve equipment, placement, quantity, and other operational issues as they arise.
• Educate customers and vendors about Trading Card Solutions products and display case rental services.
• Identify potential show partners, wholesale customers, and new event opportunities and communicate leads to management.
• Gather customer feedback and relevant market or competitor observations.
• Represent Trading Card Solutions professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, show organizers, and venue personnel.

Safety & Operational Improvement

• Promote safe practices for driving, loading, unloading, lifting, equipment handling, and warehouse operations.
• Ensure cargo and equipment are properly secured for transportation.
• Report accidents, injuries, property damage, and equipment issues appropriately.
• Identify recurring operational problems, bottlenecks, and unnecessary expenses.
• Recommend improvements that reduce mistakes, save time, control costs, and improve accountability.
• Help develop and improve standardized procedures for warehouse operations, transportation, event setup, and teardown.
• Take ownership of operational challenges and make appropriate real-time decisions when unexpected situations occur.
• Communicate significant operational issues and recommendations to company leadership.

What You'll Do

Event & Transportation Logistics

• Assist with the pickup, loading, transportation, delivery, setup, collection, and return of company equipment, inventory, and supplies.
• Help ensure company vehicles and trailers are properly loaded, secured, and prepared for scheduled travel.
• Assist with moving equipment and supplies between warehouses, storage locations, and event venues.
• Communicate transportation delays, vehicle issues, or other unexpected problems promptly.
• Follow company transportation and safety procedures while traveling and working at events.
• Help keep event transportation organized, efficient, and on schedule.

Trade Show Operations

• Help prepare display cases, equipment, supplies, accessories, and point-of-sale equipment for assigned trading card shows.
• Assist with unloading company vehicles and moving equipment into event venues.
• Deliver and position rental display cases according to customer orders.
• Inspect displays to ensure they are clean, functional, and ready for customer use.
• Help set up and maintain the Trading Card Solutions vendor booth, including trading cards, supplies, and accessories.
• Maintain an organized and professional retail presentation that supports a positive customer experience.
• Assist with post-show collection, counting, packing, and loading of company equipment.
• Work efficiently with the logistics team to complete setup and teardown accurately and on schedule.

Display Case & Equipment Operations

• Inspect display cases, risers, accessories, supplies, and other equipment before and after events.
• Identify and report missing, damaged, or improperly returned equipment.
• Help ensure display case inventory is clean, stocked, inspected, and ready for upcoming events.
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and identified repair needs.
• Properly store equipment between events to reduce damage and loss.
• Monitor event and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs.

Warehouse & Inventory

• Maintain accurate counts of display cases, accessories, supplies, packaging materials, and other company inventory.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, labeling, and storing incoming products and supplies.
• Pull, stage, and prepare inventory and equipment for upcoming events and customer orders.
• Record inventory movement between warehouse and storage locations.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and investigation of discrepancies.
• Support warehouse fulfillment activities as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse work areas.
• Report inventory shortages, discrepancies, damage, and other concerns promptly.

Shipping & Receiving

• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
• Package products and equipment appropriately to reduce the risk of damage.
• Assist with verifying outgoing palletized shipments.
• Track shipments and communicate delays, damage, loss, or delivery issues.
• Document damaged shipments and assist with claims when necessary.
• Use appropriate packaging materials and shipping methods to support efficient operations.

Customer & Vendor Support

• Provide professional, responsive support to vendors renting display cases at events.
• Assist customers with display case setup, placement, quantity, and equipment questions.
• Help fulfill same-day display case rental requests when available.
• Resolve routine customer issues professionally and escalate significant concerns to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, or operational problems appropriately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Trading Card Solutions.
• Look for opportunities to improve the customer and vendor experience.

Sales & Business Support

• Educate customers and vendors about Trading Card Solutions products and display case rental services.
• Support the sale of trading cards, supplies, and accessories at company booths.
• Identify potential display case rental customers, show partners, wholesale customers, and other business opportunities.
• Collect appropriate customer and business contact information for follow-up.
• Identify potential new trading card shows or event opportunities and communicate them to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Represent Trading Card Solutions professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, show organizers, and venue personnel.

Teamwork & Operational Improvement

• Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor and other Logistics Specialists to complete warehouse and event responsibilities.
• Follow established procedures and checklists for warehouse, transportation, event setup, and teardown operations.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete tasks within established deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding progress, outstanding work, and potential problems.
• Identify recurring problems, bottlenecks, or opportunities to improve efficiency and communicate well-developed ideas to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Help implement approved process improvements.
• Assist with directing team members or temporary event staff when specifically assigned.
• Step into a lead role for specific assignments or portions of an event when requested.
• Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, customer service, and quality of work.

Safety

• Follow established company safety procedures at warehouses, during transportation, and at events.
• Use proper lifting, loading, unloading, and equipment-handling techniques.
• Help ensure cargo and equipment are properly secured for transportation.
• Maintain safe warehouse walkways and work areas.
• Immediately report accidents, injuries, property damage, equipment damage, or other safety concerns.
• Work with other team members when handling equipment that requires a two-person lift or loading process.
